Introducing: Harley.

Speaking of firsts, we are so excited for Grandpa. We know he has waited a loooong time for this! Have fun and be safe!!!!!!!!!!

Sullivan checkin' out Grandpa's new ride!

P.S. Don't worry, '72, Honda....you will always hold a special place in our hearts! (now it just might be farther back in the garage :)!

Summer Days (almost): Part II

As if going to the beach (last weekend) wasn't enough, this weekend we enjoyed the lake for the first time.

One of the sweetest things about this age/stage (I think) is that we get to enjoy introducing many "firsts" to the boys. It is so much fun! So, as Cam and Sullivan recooperated from being a little under the weather, we decided that a little vitamin D was in order!

Our first family boat trip!

So glad that Uncle Aaron came with us!

Sullivan and Uncle Aaron having a heart -to- heart!

We wore out Cam....(actually, they both ended up falling asleep. They were so good on the boat!)

Sullivan loving it!

Having a little brotherly chat.

Cam all rested from his little cat nap!

Summer Days (almost): Part I

The past two weekends have been filled with lots of summer fun! I think instead of through words, I will share with pictures.

We loaded up the boys and headed to Galveston.
First stop....old fashioned candy store. Yum! Taffy! The boys (I mean, Molly and I) really enjoyed the sweets!

I love spending time with true friends!

True friends in the making!

Sullivan loved the sand!

Cam found a shell!

What a fun time! It was so special being able to be together for our boys' first beach outing! Can't wait to go again! Thanks, Molly!

Pittsburgh.

After spending time in West Virginia, we headed to Pittsburgh. It marked the boys' first trip to my hometown. That was pretty exciting. Thank you so much, Aunt Sue and Uncle John, for being such amazing hosts! We had a great time with you guys! We are so sorry that Sullivan got sick (I did appreciate the coffee at 4 am! You are the best). It was great to get together with cousins we haven't seen in a very long time.

And.....it snowed!

The meal was delicious and the company....even better!
Cam was so happy to get to see Aunt Sue and Uncle John Again!

Grandpa made the boys their very first snowman!

Sullivan was pretty sick during this part of the trip. He woke up for a little while and since it was so very cold outside, Grandpa moved the snowman inside for him (so thoughtful!). He is a little more adventurous than his brother...and thought it would be fun to touch the cold snowman :).

Almost Heaven.

Being with family and in the beautiful state of West Virginia really is
almost heaven.
You were so right, John (Denver, that is!).

We had such a great time visiting family! I was so fortunate to grow up very close to my family. It often makes me sad that we live so far away, but that is what makes trips like these so very special to me!

We had such a blast! As I mentioned before, Sullivan was sick, so that was really a bummer, but we tried to make the best of it. We had great food, wonderful company, and a super-fun,four-wheeler ride! It just doesn't get better than that!

Super Baby! He doesn't look sick, does he?

A beautiful day for a ride through the holler!

Priceless.

Cathy and I...and our boys!

Smooch!

Love you, Grandma and Grandpa!

(Part II tomorrow: Pittsburgh Pictures! Sorry!)

Pot of Gold! (you HAVE to watch this one!)

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

We "celebrated" with a walk with a friend on a beautiful day, some outside playtime, a little cookin' in the kitchen, and giggling. When I heard this laughing, it felt like I had
struck gold!
This sound is just too cute!

(What isn't cute is my "muppets-like" voice that you hear. Let me explain: I was wiping off Sully's face after a yummy meal of blueberries (messy!) and he proceeded to push me away. So, I was joking around with him and said "be nice to mamma" in a funny voice. He giggled and giggled and giggled and giggled.)

Enjoy...I sure did!

Another big thing that happened today was that Cam (kinda) figured out how to use a sippy cup! And Chris got it on video. He hasn't figured out how to tilt the cup yet, but he is getting there.

Lastly, I am working on a post from our trip to West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Thanks for being

so patient :).

There are just so many good pictures to choose from!

I just had to.

Thank, you, Britt, for directing me to this photo.
Totally my mantra for the day that I will just repeat
over and
over and
over and ......etc.....

Making Lemonade from Lemons.

Or in other words, when you get a virus on vacation, make the best of it (if possible). We had a wonderful time visiting, meeting, and getting reconnected with family last week! It was great to see everyone and I was so proud to introduce the boys to their family.
Sullivan got sick though.
That was a bummer.
Travelling with a sick baby is no fun. My sweet, happy, pleasant Sullivan was not that. But hopefully he is on the mend.
I can't wait to share more pictures, but for now here is a sneak peak of just a few. Thanks, Cathy, for these!

We got to celebrate Dad's birthday (a little early) with him.
Nothing makes someone feel better than some snuggle time with Great Grandma!

Look at those chompers!!!!

in the meantime.

Here are some pictures of "life" around here. (just from phone-sorry about the quality).

Thank you, Scott, for the Christmas gift. I had a great time at Viking Cooking School! Aren't those beautiful colors?
A little cousin time. So lucky to have family so close!

Cam all ready for church.

Enjoying a beautiful afternoon. Don't you love the camo Uncle Aaron?

Enjoying a nice dinner with Grandma and Grandpa. Yum! Blueberries! Thanks, Britt!

Please be patient.

(please be patient with us while we work through some technical difficulties. The blog will be "up and running" shortly). Thank you!
