Welcome to the world!!!!!!

We are excited to say that our niece was born this past Friday. She is just as perfect as our nephew was two years (almost exactly) ago.

It certainly got my mind spinning. I am excited to meet our two little boys but definitely realize that our lives are about to change...a lot! I hope that isn't percieved as being negative; I don't mean to imply that at all. In fact, I like to look at it like this: Chris and I have such a great marriage. We have so much fun together, enjoy each other's company, and have our little "routine" pretty well established. I know that is going to change. (here is the positive spin) I am so happy that 4 years later being married we can still say that we have just as much fun (if not more...) as we did when we first dated.

So, with that said, I thought I would include a picture from when Chris and I were dating......aaahhh...good memories :).


I have also included my 27 week picture. I have to confess that they are getting more difficult to post becuase I am starting to look at them and instead of seeing "aahhh, cute...", I am seeing "aaahhh, puffy!". Oh well!

26 weeks, new chair, & lighter plate....

Well, this week started by "feeling lighter" already....and I promise you that has nothing to do with my pregnancy weight (which you will NEVER see me blogging about...). I took my NCE exam this past weekend and for so long I just kept thinking/saying "when my test is done then I can focus on babies...". Well, the test is done!

We got a new chair this week (which I might say is a very good sleeping option; I slept there last night for a bit in one of my "I am uncomfortable" moments. You can see from the picture that Chris is enjoying it too.....as well as our cat.

As you can tell from the title, this is my 26th week of pregnancy. The boys are moving a ton and I continue to feel great! Chris and I continue to pray for a full-term pregnancy that will result in healthy babies. We would be honored if you would join us in that prayer :).

Polishing Nails...and Benadryl

This week I am 24 weeks along! I have experienced a new found love for....Benadryl (only half a pill to help me sleep....my restless legs are keeping ALL of us up at night). I also have a new appreciation for hiring someone to help me polish my toenails since...I can barely reach them without running out of breath.

I have posted some pictures of babies' room. Both cribs are in and I can't wait to get started on their bedding (I am going to attempt to make it. I will keep you posted on how that goes). Also, my sister-in-law and I went shopping and I found this great sign. My hope is for our boys to be great friends...I loved what it had to say. Maybe it is meant for a big/little brother? I am not sure. Lastly, I have included a picture of the bedding. We really don't have a "theme" per say. I am not really that into themes for babies; we are keeping it simple. That way we can save money for their fort/bunk beds that their daddy is already eyeing.

Now...time to study (two weeks until the NCE exam...and then I will get started on that bedding).
