Royalty.

Hmn. I wonder if when Princess Katherine and Prince William have children..if they will have cheerios on their kitchen floor?

I wonder if Princess Katherine will ever have a pile of laundry sitting somewhere waiting to be folded?

I wonder if she will ever tire of being called Princess?

What a great week! We had so much fun watching the Royal Wedding amongst lots of other things to keep us busy throughout our week.
Here is the week in review:

Sullivan learning to not only crawl very fast...but climb. Yikes!

Yep. Helping mommy with dishes. (again...yikes!)
I was so lucky to have lots of help (just like I am sure Princess Katherine does!). Cousin P helped with laundry. Thanks buddy!

Cam enjoyed a book being read to him.

We want to be big and strong like daddy so....we eat all of our veggies!

"look at me! I can stand up in my crib!" (yep... mattress was lowered shortly after!)

Oh yes I did! Thanks to
www.tomkatstudios.com I made cupcakes for the occasion.

Sam and Cam enjoyed the Royal Wedding also.

random acts of kindness.

We enjoyed an afternoon at Grandma and Grandpas house...and the boys went swimming for the first time.

Grandpa telling Cam the rules of the pool.

He loved it!

Brothers. (S. and C.)

When we woke up on Sunday the Easter Bunny really did show up at our house! We had this lovely package on our front door. Do we have the nicest neighbors or what? Thank you to the "R" family for such a thoughtful gift for the boys. And how neat...the paper is actually intended to be planted....Can't wait to try it out!

It is amazing how much a random act of kindness (either on the giving or receiving end) can brighten a day. What kind thing will you do today?

one more for nap time!

I have learned that the morning nap is vital...for many reasons. a. this is when I get ready for the day. b. this is when the dishes get done. c. this is when I pick out the boys' outfits (seriously a highlight of my day...silly, I know!) d. this is when I fill out my day's "to do list" e. this is when I do laundry f. this is when I update my blog. So....one more for the day...because I hear the little guys starting to wake up! After we do all of that...we can do fun stuff like this! The boys enjoyed a picnic with their friend, and endured mom trying out her new camera... What a great day!

Such big boys! (It looks like Cam is pouting! Actually...I think he is! I think that his brother stole his treat he was eating....just the beginning....)

How does your garden grow?

In the spirit of learning nursery rhymes and reading lots of books around here about spring (which I LOVE and think that the boys love it too.....) we have been doing some gardening and "beautification" of our yard.

...an itsy bitsy spider...has decided to make his home in our tomato plant. can't wait to enjoy some smores in our new fire pit. Thanks, Chris! ...now...what should we make with all of our herbs?

Eleven.

Eleven months. That is how old my babies are today (April 11). Wow! It is also our favorite newphew in the world's birthday. 3 awesome years. Love you buddy!

Sullivan James

What a silly little boy! You are a busy baby and you really keep me on my toes. You now have two teeth and although you dont show them off all the time, you are really happy to have them because you love to chew on yummy foods like cookies (thanks, Grandma), cheese, and carrots. You crawl all over the place now....and boy are you quick! (time to baby-proof the house!). You weigh about (not exact, sorry!) 16 lbs and are wearing 6 month clothing. You have a smile that melts hearts, and are actually very "flirty" with people! When you start giggling...you can't stop! Thank you for taking such great naps! You usually sleep for a few hours at nap time! When you are tired and ready to go to bed, you let us know because you roll over on your belly (even if we are feeding you a bottle!). You are pretty brave; you even liked going swimming for the first time! I know that I will have to keep my eye on you! I love you!

You are so much fun! You smile all of the time and love to show off your two teeth. You are a big boy! You wear size 9 month clothes and weigh (about) 19 lbs (I don't know exactly. oops!) You got tired of your brother getting all of the cool toys....so you are starting to scoot around! You like to sit up and still really love being on your belly. Your favorite thing to eat is...EVERYTHING! You really like whole-grain pasta with Italian veggies (thanks, Erin!). Your favorite finger food is: cheese! Bathtime continues to be fun. You kick so much that the bathroom floor is usually soaked when you are done. You don't really like to take naps. So....by the time 6pm rolls around...you are cranky! But, thankfully you sleep really well at night! You are a wonderful snuggler....and I love you!
