San Diego

Last stop of the vacation was some R and R in San Diego! It was well-needed (after 2 theme parks) and  enjoyed!

Not long after we checked into the hotel, the boys and I headed to the beach. They could not get enough! They loved it!!!!

What a great way to end the night: Smores on the Beach!

Lego Land!

Next stop: Legoland! The boys loved this! 

Beckett slept great and was super snuggly the next morning!

 Daddy and Sullivan go on their first ride at Legoland! All of the animals were made out of…you guessed it…legos! 

The boys even got to meet "Emmet"! 

 Before we left we had to stop by the aquarium……AND….

 buy some Legos from the gift shop! 

On our drive home, we stopped by the coast to enjoy dinner…In and Out Burger. Anything tastes better with a view like that! 

It was such a long day….and this is proof! Camden didn't make it up more than 2 stairs before falling asleep. 

Vacation Day 2: Disneyland!!!!

We started the day off with some donuts! 

…and then got dressed up like a pirate family and headed to Disneyland!

…ARGH! 

and every good Pirate family…has a pet parrot (sorry, Beckett!)

the boys loved going Trick or Treating in the park!

The Parade is one of our favorite things! 

And within minutes of our walk to the car…our Pirates were sound asleep! 

California! 2014 Travels

Travel Day: Day 1

Riddle: What do you call 3 carseats, 2 toddlers, an infant, 2 suitcases, 2 strollers, 4 carryons, plenty of snacks, iPads, bottles, legos, chewing gum, and diapers? 

Answer:  CRAZY Butler Family Vacation!!!!!

Ha! On a more serious note, we just got back from a FANTASTIC family vacation! It was so much fun to travel for the first time as a family of five. Beckett did great….and the boys love to travel! Travelling with 3 kids isn't exactly the easiest thing….but they did great…and we would do it again in a heartbeat! (in fact, we can't wait to go again soon to visit our grandparents and cousins!).
