Just keep swimming…...

What a fun evening swimming with our cousins! So lucky to have them close by!
Thanks, Aunt Sarah, for letting us join you!

(love this face!- he was taking the "hold your breath" very seriously!)

Making memories- one grass stain at a time!

I realize sometimes that I spend a lot of time making sure that the house stays tidy and clean. The boys are pretty used to taking their shoes off when they come in the house, and although I love doing crafts with the boys and getting messy- the mess is planned and contained.

But the other day this had to change.

It was time to make some really fun memories and I am thankful for times like these. We played outside (despite the heat) and all of a sudden- out of no where- it started to pour. Instead of running inside in an effort to stay clean/dry….we stayed out. We (okay- they) played in the mud, got messy, grass stained, and (frankly) completely bit up by bugs (oops!).

And they still talk about it.

July Phone Pictures 2014

July is a Hot time around here….so between the heat and being about 8 months pregnant…we have tried to occupy our time in the AC or near a pool.   I have been working less…which means more time with the boys and I am loving that!

Here are our July Happenings around the Butler house. Crazy to think that when I share pictures from our month of August…there will be an additional little boy/girl with us.
2 weeks to go….. :)

Some fun at the Children's Museum.

The best .99 cents spent at the Dollar store!

Because what else would we do with giant cardboard boxes? Paint ourselves…not the box :).

A nice afternoon on the lake with a few friends.
We love a visit from our sweet H.
The boys went to Science Camp and LOVED it! (how adorable are these hats?)

 A nice evening boat ride!
 (little kitty cat cameo)
 Science fun in the driveway.

This started as a friendly hug after haircuts…and ended with a little superhero wrestling.
Ah! Caught this sweet moment out the kitchen window.
 SNUGGLE TIME!
We love Shaved Ice! The boys are saying "cheers"!

One of my favorites. Cam loves to say hello to the baby.

Starting off the day with Poptarts for breakfast while waiting for the parade!

(crazy that next years parade we will have a baby with us! )

So excited to see the firetrucks!

Pecan Pralines & Cream

….is my favorite Bluebell ice-cream. What is yours? One thing that Texas has that Pittsburgh didnt is really amazing ice-cream (With the exception of Penn State Creamery that is.)

Bluebell is delicious….and the other day we got to take a tour of the factory where it is all made!

What a fun day with cousins!

June Happenings

JUNE 2014

End of June blog post already?!? How is that possible? How is it possible that our family will grow by 2 feet in about 7 weeks???? Oh my! So with that being said, the boys and I have been trying to make the most of our time together! And enjoy it we have!

The boys went to their first Kids Week (VBS) at our church (www.churchproject.org) at the beginning of June. They seemed to really like it (and were exhausted when they came home!)

Morning at the mall with Grandma! So fun!

Learning to build Legos all on their own. Pretty impressive.

The boys helping daddy put together the baby's changing table.
Happy Fathers Day to two amazing fathers! We had a great day of swimming and fun!

The boys picking out a movie to watch for our family movie night!

….a little library fun! (trying to learn how to navigate a mouse…doesn't help when the screens are touch screen :)

Nesting.

(I tried to explain the game. But really we just ended up stacking the pieces and knocking them over. Way more fun!)
 Choices. Choices. Choices.

A little playdate fun!
Riding the dirt hills to pass time! Camden can ride his "big boy bike" with no problem- no training wheels. Sullivan does a great job also but is a little more reserved and would prefer his balance bike.

Camden listening to the baby's heartbeat. Look at that growing baby (and tummy! hen…looks a little lopsided?)

And finally some park silliness! Love my boys! Wonder if I will have another? (boy or girl….what are your votes?)
