Back in the Saddle Again

It's Not our First (Blog Post) Rodeo.

I have blogged before. I used to be fairly consistent. I got out of the habit when life got busier.

But I have missed it.

Well, after the big boys were so brave last week I decided I could be too. It is never too late to start something (again).

So I am back in the saddle!

Speaking of saddles.....

Last week we took the all 3 boys to the Walker County Fair and it was a hit! C and S got to be Rodeo Participants and go "Mutton Bustin'" (unofficial definition: dress like a cowboy, ride a sheep for as long as you can, and then all day long be super proud because you are "like a real cowboy").

It was so much fun!

Ready to see some action?!!!!
Sullivan's First Time to Mutton Bust

Camden's First Time to Mutton Bust

Camden looked so (ADORABLE) and serious!

Sweet M and her daddy! So thankful for such great friends!

Look at him (C) hanging on!!! He was so brave!

He gave that sheep a run for his money..!

Go Sullivan Go! His (silly) sheep came out of the stall backwards but S held on tight anyway!!!

 My handsome cowboys!

Beckett loved the livestock part of the day!

He could have stood there for hours watching the
momma cow and her baby!

S and the momma cow having a stare down! (look at that smile! Pure Joy!)

( I think I know what they might want for Christmas!)

Their bravery continued on throughout the night...
by picking the FRONT seat on the roller coaster!

They were amazed by the fireworks!Look at those baby blues!
The big boys getting a close-up look at some of the rodeo animals.

 Some sleepy cowboys right there!

I am going to be posting several times a week to archive for lost time. I have so missed Chronicling our family adventures!

March happenings.

It's June. And I am posting for March. You know you are behind on the blog when you post pictures and the kids already look older than they do in the pictures.

March in Texas is Rodeo.
In March we celebrate Grandpa's birthday.
In March we had our cousins over for a sleepover.
In March Beckett turned 7 months old.

Our family rodeo night. So much fun!!!!!
Even Beckett dressed up in his pearl snaps!

Camden has such a fun personality! He loves to be silly!

At 7 months, Beckett really started eating solids at most meals. He is an eater!!!! He really didn't want baby food. Basically, he wants to eat whatever his big brothers have!

First time sitting in a cart (at Target- mommy's favorite!)

Just a picture of some of our silly things that we do…life with boys!

Bathtime! He loves his bath!

Being super silly while we waited in the car for the rain to stop!

Date night!!!

I love catching Camden and Sullivan being wonderful big brothers. Camden was singing a song….and Beckett gave some sweet belly laughs!

Happy Birthday, Grandpa!

No one is safe at our house from putting on a cape, mask, or any other superhero costume! Not even Beckett!

Playball!
 (love that leg lift!)
Some cousin snuggles with "baby Beckett".
I love this picture! So glad to have cousins that we love to play with!

February Cell phone. Happy 6 Months!

Happy February!

Dear Beckett,
This month you turned 6 months old! You are so much fun! You really want to be a big boy! You LOVE to eat (trying new foods all the time. What you really like to do is eat big people food in teeny-tiny pieces. You also like to hang out on all 4's while you figure out how to crawl. You roll over both ways and are starting to babble more and more. You still drool A LOT and are finally enjoying the car more (thankfully!). You love your big brothers and really want to be watching them wherever they are!

Celebrating the Super bowl with mom! (might have been from late January- oops)

Took the big boys on a little outing to chuck-e-cheese. They loved it!
We went to the Dinosaur Museum with some friends!

And of course we had to make our Valentines! They boys did a really good job! They gave their friends crayons in the shape of lego people/blocks.

All day. Every Day. So creative!

 Speechless. So cute!
Daddy was out of town….so…..we had a slumber party!
 Touch a truck event.
A little yard work on a beautiful day!

Thank you to our sweet neighbor Ms. Pat who made this for Bedk
